With all these other fro-yo joints around, what is it that sets Eco apart from the others? A couple of things actually. First, their selection of yogurts don't just taste great, they also do a body good- containing active cultures that aid in digestion, control cholesterol levels and strengthen the immune system. Some of the flavors even offer supplements such as Echinacea and Protein Boost! But, the benefits of Eco don't stop there. The company is environmentally conscious, using recycled materials for their cups, lids, spoons, and napkins. Eco also donates a portion of their proceeds to local, ecologically friendly organizations and supports local schools as well.
Eco offers a trio of greatness- a cool, loungy atmosphere, awesome yogurts, and an Earth-friendly business approach. If you can't make your way to Boca Raton to give it a try, there is a second location opening up very soon in Fort Lauderdale, on Las Olas-very close to the beach! And if both of those locations are still out of your reach, why not open your own? Eco has franchising opportunities available. While I don't know exactly how profitable the self-serve fro-yo business is, I imagine with the "pay by weight" concept, you could do pretty well- and just think of all the delicious yogurt you would have in your life!
